Carlos Pinto
Founding Partner
Has worked in the oil and diamond, financial, telecommunications, infrastructure and real estate sectors, advising and monitoring national and international clients in these areas, as well as in the energy sector, participating in the restructuring and regulatory monitoring of energy companies operating in Angola and abroad, and in various M&A operations in this and other sectors. He has held leadership and management positions in companies, institutions and public and private bodies and since 2009 he has been an Assistant Professor at the UAN Faculty of Law, where he taught the Commercial Law Subject and is currently teaching International Trade Law.

Carlos Almeida
Partner
Has worked in the areas of corporate and commercial law, insurance, energy and real estate, advising and constantly monitoring national and international clients in these areas. He has also played an important role in the financial sector, participating in the structuring and regulatory monitoring of insurance companies operating in Angola and abroad and various risk capital funds, having been part of the team that set up the first management company for collective investment undertakings in Angola. He was also a member of the team of lawyers who oversaw the first merger of two banking financial institutions in Angola and was a teacher at UMA's Faculty of Law, where he taught subject of the Law of Things.

She has also advised on the implementation of private investment projects in Angola and insurance companies in recapitalization and restructuring processes, in order to ensure compliance with the new regulatory frameworks.

Has worked in the areas of family law and registry and notary law, gaining extensive experience in dealing with public and private entities. She is currently working in the areas of corporate and commercial law, the securities markets, tax and labor law, advising and constantly monitoring national and international clients in these areas. With a strong inclination, has also advised on banking, on the implementation of private investment projects in Angola and on various companies in the mining sector.
Rui Brito

Has worked in the areas of corporate and commercial law, labor and insurance law, providing permanent advice and support to national and international clients in these areas. He is also heavily involved in the real estate sector, participating in the transfer and regularization of numerous properties in various operations in Angola. Was a member of the team of lawyers who accompanied several processes involving capital increases in real estate investment funds with the transfer of numerous properties in a single transaction.
Sandra Ramos

Has worked mainly in the areas of employment and social security law, private investment, corporate and commercial law, providing ongoing advice and support to national and international clients in these areas. With a strong intervention in the tourism and culture sector, she has held leadership positions in public and private institutions, having participated in the coordination of the Revision of the Legislative Framework for the Tourism Sector.

Has worked in various areas of public law, providing legal advice on various public tenders, public-private partnerships, drafting legal diplomas, including laws, regulations and statutes, and has participated in the regulatory process of various administrative and judicial entities in Angola. Currently works in the areas of corporate and commercial law, labor, finance, international trade and private investment, advising and monitoring national and international clients in these areas on an ongoing basis. She is a teacher at the UAN Faculty of Law, where she has been teaching International Trade Law since 2022.
